DARKEN THE SUN PLAN B AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE

We know well that humans are making very little effort to save our precious and unique home, so if humanity as a group does not achieve a significant improvement in the state of the planet, scientists, world powers and some governments will take drastic measures and will have to darken the sun.

There has been much discussion about the methods that could be used to obscure our atmosphere and therefore the solar rays hitting it. But it has not been discussed about the disastrous consequences that this could bring.

The idea is to cover the atmosphere with aerosols containing reflective particles to achieve a high-speed reduction of the global temperature.

The main variants of what could be thrown into our stratosphere are from table salt and aluminum oxide to diamond dust. The one that receives the most attention is sulfur. since we know with almost absolute certainty that this aerosol would work.

The idea is to achieve an effect similar to that of a gigantic volcano when it erupts and the dust and ash and sulfur that it releases in the stratosphere (15 km high) create a decrease in temperature in the area of several degrees, and can even take one or more summers from the world.

Scientists want to reproduce this apocalypse artificially 👏👏👏, and that's where things get complicated. Machines capable of directly depositing a sulfur gas payload in the stratosphere must be perfectly located, operated and designed.

Millions of tons of aerosols would be deployed. Unlike carbon dioxide emissions, which remain there for decades or centuries, sulfur escapes from the atmosphere in a few years. Our machines would have to operate perhaps perpetually, continuously supplying the shield.

The way it is deposited is still in discussion but it can be by airplanes, meteorological balloons, missiles and even ferromagnetic weapons, but the most accepted idea are the airplanes

The idea of throwing aerosols into the stratosphere may end up causing more damage than profit.
